Grading Criteria for Term Paper: The term papers will be evaluated and graded according to the following criteria:

1. Presentation format and layout (10%): Required length, table of contents, headings and subheadings, format within the text, abstract, and reference list (APA format).

2. Spelling, grammar, and syntax (10%): Grammatical mistakes and spelling errors definitely make very difficult reading.

3. Research and literature coverage (30%): This refers to the breadth and depth of your literature review, use of academic sources, and most importantly, your adequate within-text citing of facts, ideas, and arguments. Have you used scholarly citations- does your paper demonstrate knowledge of these citations? (reflecting research integrity)

4. Presentation and development of ideas (50%): The most important component of a good term paper is how well your text flows, how well you support your ideas, how well-articulated are your arguments, and how well you have covered your topic (your model), included your interview questions. The paper should demonstrate a strong connection between theory and practice as such integration provides a better understanding of the subject researched.
